These candles won't care for themselves
A guide to caring for your candles and enhancing your olfactory experience!
The time has come!
Now that your candle has arrived, it’s time to remove the dust cover and embark on an olfactory adventure.
Light me up!
It’s time to let it burn. Your candle comes with a pre-trimmed wick, so hold your favourite match or lighter over the wooden wick until it's lit, and enjoy!
Burn baby burn!
This part is crucial! Ensure you let the candle burn to the edge before putting out my fire. Burn for around 2-3 hours and no longer than 4.
Trim, trim, trim!
Trimming the wick is essential. It’ll help ensure your candle burns properly and doesn’t give you smoke. Your candle arrives with a pre-trimmed wick. After your first and subsequent burns, trim it to approximately 3-10 mm before your next burn.
A good rule of thumb is to trim the wick to the same size it was when you received it. If you don’t have a wick trimmer, use nail clippers, scissors or your fingers to remove the charred bits.
Candle safety + warning
Never leave a lit candle unattended or around children or pets unsupervised. Ensure adequate ventilation when burning a candle and avoid burning in a confined space. Always burn on an even, heat-resistant surface. Keep away from drafts and never burn close to flammable objects such as curtains. Never burn for longer than 3 hours in a single session. Failure to follow these instructions could result in a fire hazard or damage.
